You may prefer a one to one training session with a dog trainer / behaviourist. This will mean you can focus on your dog’s issues and not be distracted by other dogs and handlers.
These sessions can be arranged anywhere that suits your needs; for example, if your dog only misbehaves in your local park we can arrange to meet you there, although at your home is usually the best place to start.
We usually find these sessions to be extremely successful - the one to one approach gives you the opportunity to discuss any issues in depth, and to find out the best way to handle your dog.
The most common problems seem to be pulling on the lead and aggression, and these can be surprisingly easy to fix. We will assess your dog and advise you on a course of corrective actions. You should see a difference in your dog very quickly.
Other common problems that we have great success in helping with include dogs jumping up at people (or you) and general unruly behaviour.
These problems can be very frustrating, but they can usually be simple to correct, and most of the time a single session is enough to make the difference between ‘having' to take your dog out and ‘wanting' to take your dog out.
Whether you are interested in puppy training or dog training, we can help.
