How do I start and progress?

UK Sniffer Dogs Bronze Series 1 & 2
You'll start with Bronze Series 1 & 2 Workshops.
Designed for absolute beginners, each is a 3 hour session covering the basics of scent detection.
- Once you have completed these workshops, you can compete in our Bronze Trials, and/or begin attending our Improvers'/Continuation Classes to prepare for your Silver/Gold Classes.

UK Sniffer Dogs Silver Series 3 & 4
Once you've completed your Bronze Series 1 & 2 Workshops, and attended sufficent Improvers' Classes, you can choose to progress to your Silver/Gold Classes. These won't involve a workshop, but you will still work towards your Silver and Gold qualifications.

UK Sniffer Dogs Gold Series 5 & 6
With Bronze and Silver under your belts there'll be no stopping you! Our Gold Classes are the most challenging we currently offer.
Once you've completed your Silver qualification, you'll stay in the same class, but work on Gold level detection, with your best friend finally qualifying as a true Gold Scent Detection Dog.

Instructor: Nikki Turner
Nikki holds City & Guilds Certificates in Instruction and Scent Detection Dog Handling with The UK College of Scent Dogs, Lantra accreditation with UK Scent Sports, is a Bronze, Silver and Gold Instructor for Scent detection and Tracking with UK Sniffer dogs, level 6 Instructor for Scentwork UK, member of the school of canine science and is an accredited Mantrailing Global Instructor and Assessor.
